We found some very unique stuff on this trip, including a Fender John 5 acoustic guitar, a Joe Pass Emperor II, a six-string banjo (which is tuned like a guitar!), Fender and Epiphone “A” and “F” style mandolins, a slew of really nice Takamine acoustics, a square-neck Dobro and more electric basses and guitars from Fender, Epiphone, Ibanez and Jackson than I can list in one sitting.

Tube Tone

You can’t beat the tone you get from tubes…and in addition to having some fabulous new and NOS tubes in stock, our repair department is geared up with advanced tools for tube testing and matching.

With both vintage analog and state-of-the-art digital testers we can identify weak or damaged tubes, accurately measure tubes for quality, precision match for plate current and transconductance and test tubes for inter-electrode short circuits.

So, if you think your tubes are getting a little dodgy, having your tubes tested is a good stop before doing a complete replacement…and we’ve got you covered!

Electro-Harmonix

The latest batch of Electro-Harmonix effects is in! We’ve got some cool delays like the Deluxe Memory Boy and the #1 Echo, some old standbys like the Soul Preacher and Metal Muff and some of EHX’s new offerings like the Analogizer, Freeze and Switchblade+ as well…

And for you Tone-Hounds out there, we just got in some of the Sino 12AX7B preamp tubes. Rumor has it that the Sino factory in Beijing is shut down, so the old Sino 12AX7B’s might start drying up. They are a great value if you are looking to change your tone without hitting the more expensive tubes…brighter and less noisy than the “A” model, these are great for getting a lead tone that will cut through a mix.

This Just In…

The new Snark SN-8 tuners have landed!

This is the latest and greatest in the world of clip-on tuners. The SN-1′s and SN-2′s were pretty awesome, but the SN-8′s are tighter for more accurate tuning, faster to grab on to the note and the new display is brighter and easier to read.We were very lucky to acquire these for our clients…the Big Box stores aren’t even selling these yet!

Definitely a winner in our book and we’ve got cases of them in stock, ready to go, so come on in and check them out!

2012 is here…

2012 is upon us and things are in full swing at Liberty House Guitar Shop…

Our latest shipment of guitars is making it’s way out to the floor and in addition to some incredible values like our $99.99 acoustics we also have electrics starting at $109.99, which are perfect for those who are just getting started. We have a full house of basses and classical guitars as well, with some real bargains available right now.

And we brought back some haymakers as well. An incredible B.B. King “Lucille” model, a ’58 Korina Explorer in black and gold and a super-flashy Gretsch G5238T in gold sparkle.
